What is a home Inspection?
A home inspection is a non-invasive, visual examination of the accessible areas of a residential structure which is designed to identify defects within specific systems and components. The scope of work may be modified by the Client and Inspector prior to the inspection process.

The general home inspection is based on the observations made on the date of the inspection, and not a prediction of future conditions. The general home inspection will not reveal every issue that exists or ever could exist, but only those material defects observed on the date of the inspection.

What are ancillary services?
An ancillary service, are those services that are beyond the basic home inspection. Examples include Radon, water bacteria, termite and air quality testing, just to name a few.

What will a home inspection cost?
Cost varies based on the size of the house, other structures on the property (E.g. 3 car detached garage) location and ancillary services requested by the client, mortgage lender and/or attorney.

Can a house fail inspection?
No. Professional home inspections completed by licensed home inspectors are an examination of the condition of the property to identify defects of the homes system and components. It is not an appraisal and we do not determine current market values or verify current code compliance requirements. Home inspectors do not pass or fail a residence, but describe the condition of the home the day of inspection.

How long does a home inspection take?
Depending on the size of the home and ancillary services to be completed, the inspection should take between 3 and 4 hours.

How do I pay for my inspection?
You can pay for your inspection with any major credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express) or debit card by swiping, inserting your chip card or using the newest technology, NFC contactless payments which are dynamically encrypted, making them one of the most secure ways to pay. Cash is accepted. All credit or debit card transactions are subject to a 2.75% transaction fee.
